3rd Year LearnKey Issues High School Scholarships

St. George, UT - January 13, 2009 - LearnKey's Scholarship Program has been reissued for the 2008/2009 school year to US based high schools. The scholarship was created to support schools with their mission of 21st Century Technology Tools in the classroom.

As part of this commitment, LearnKey will select five schools to participate in this scholarship. School selections are based on social and economic needs and problem statements addressed in the application. We are awarding five $1,000 college scholarships to eligible students who choose an IT industry based certification path and certify by the end of the school year. LearnKey will provide learning preparation tools and testing vouchers. To nominate your school visit www.learnkey.com/scholarship.

"We are pleased to be able to offer these scholarships for the 3rd year to students who have great potential and aptitude to succeed with computer technology and tools. These basic skills will be a foundation to their college career, and we are hoping our scholarship will meet some of the needs to get student supplies or books for their first year in college. This program has been highly received in previous years, and it's our goal to help motivate schools, teachers and students to accomplish a base IT certification while in high school" Jamie Franzman, COO, LearnKey, Inc.

To nominate your school you must complete the application and submit no later than January 19, 2009. Participation for the 2009 school year will be limited to students enrolled in the 11th and 12th grades. Schools must be selected to participate.
